Scenario 2-2: Basic OSPF
In this scenario, you learn how to change the routing protocol to OSPF on both Routers R1 and R2. Figure 2-3 shows the network and areas you use for this scenario. You change the IP addresses as well to learn about VLSM. Leave the Ethernet segments with a Class C network to enable 254 hosts to attach to the router. Use a /30 mask on the serial link and host addressing or a /32 mask on all the loopbacks to conserve address space.
