EIGRP metrics can be changed using several methods: setting interface bandwidth, setting interface delay, changing the metric calculation formula by configuring K-values, and even by adding to the calculated metric using offset lists. In practice, the most reasonable and commonly used methods are to set the interface delay and the interface bandwidth.
