Beyond mobility services, Wireless Control System (WCS) is also a powerful management tool for the Cisco Unified Wireless Network solution. Management is not only configuring access points (AP) and controllers from a single interface, but also leveraging the power of a centralized platform to apply the same configuration items to several controllers, and organizing elements of the network into logical groups sharing the same configuration needs or profiles. Because it allows for better optimization of the configuration tasks, WCS is a central part of the IUWMS exam, and you need to be familiar with its advanced possibilities.
