Cisco Easy VPN Remote Overview
The Cisco Easy VPN Remote feature allows certain Cisco IOS routers, Cisco PIX Firewalls, and Cisco VPN 3002 Hardware or software clients to act as remote VPN clients.
In the example shown in Figure 10-1, remote offices or individual PCs may access corporate computing resources using various Cisco VPN Clients terminating at Cisco IOS 12.2(8)T routers.
