Abstract
Displays in CCTV typically refer to electronic devices, often called monitors, but we will also discuss hard copy printed material and discuss it's resolution details. Monitors are often considered an unimportant investment in CCTV, compared to the other parts of a CCTV system. It is, however, very clear that if a monitor is not of matching or better quality then the cameras the overall system quality will be diminished. Simple but worthwhile advice is: pay as much attention to your monitor as you do to your camera selection.Monitors have evolved in their quality and technology.
