The Future
There is one way of looking at the future of the cellular telephone and paging industries and that is to divide them into two general areas, the technical and the commerical. Of these two, the latter will probably get the most publicity and newspaper coverage because it is the easiest to understand. The enactment of the Telecommunications Bill early in 1996 untied some long-standing regulations that had separated the various suppliers of the different methods of communication.
