Life is a constant balancing act. There is always something that happens for which one cannot plan. It helps to have some flexibility, but my new supervisor is not very supportive of personal issues so we are trying to work things out. I’m not a compartmentalized person where I can just shut off one thing. My family and work go where I do so it is a package deal. It’s hard to put one over the other.
