Chapter Eight. Tailoring Change to Your Particular Flexstyle

 

Currently, I don’t subscribe to the workday idea. I get what I need to get done for home and for work. Some days home takes longer; most days work takes longer. Particularly, now that my wife is sick, I think it’s fair that if I am willing to give more than a 10-hour day to the company, people I work with need to understand there are times when I need to take care of personal things as well during normal business hours. I hate talking about my family situation with people at work, but things really are stressful and not working out very well since I am always managing last minute conflicts.
