Maintaining the Enterprise Architecture
There is a common aphorism among project managers that “all projects are under budget and on schedule on the first day.” Without maintenance, enterprise architecture descriptions (view representations) are valid exactly once, if even that, at the time they were built. Truth is, architecture views are snapshots of reality and will require updating to continue to reflect reality.
