Operational Viewpoint

The Operational Viewpoint serves the interest of an audience concerned with the business processes, activities, and tasks that are performed by an enterprise or enterprise segment or that provide the context for a business solution. The Operational Viewpoint is concerned with the here and the now, as opposed to the Capability (strategic) Viewpoint, which is concerned with planning for the future.

In military operations, the Operational Viewpoint models and represents the concept of operations (CONOPS). The military mission drives the military operation.
