3 CHANGE MANAGER ACTIVITIES

Chapter 2 described the SFIAplus activities performed in change management at five levels of seniority (SFIA level 2 to level 6). These represent activities that are carried out by all participants in the process, not just the change manager. Table 2.2 showed the merged levels as an overview of all activities, with duplication removed.

This chapter further consolidates the process, to distil an ordered view and separate the activities typically carried out by the change manager from those usually performed elsewhere. The aim is to clarify a typical change manager role, without losing sight of the whole, so that the role can be scaled according to local need and the line fall where necessary.
