In the tale of the werewolf, an ordinary man bitten by a wolf becomes transformed into a wild creature once a month when the moon is full. At that time he wreaks havoc on the humans around him, killing men, women, and children. No one is safe from his bloodlust. Nothing can stop the werewolf. Not his human reason, because that’s been taken over by the wolf. Not the people he loves, because they’re in more danger now that he’s a predator and they are prey. During a full moon, when man has become a creature unknown to himself, no gun, sword, or weapon can pierce his skin. He’s unstoppable.
