Recommendations
1.1 In view of the interlinkages of the economic and the social sectors and their supportive role in strengthening each other, the rural development agencies should function in the direction of convergence of the services of education, health, child care, technology and other developmental measures. For maximizing impact wherever possible programmes must adopt the group approach to mobilization of women.
