Creating the Face
This chapter discusses three aspects of the face: proportions, character types, and facial expressions. Faces vary widely in shape and appearance, and they constantly appear at different angles, so there is a lot of information to learn. In costume design, figures are presented in full from head to toe. The face is only one-eighth of the whole body, but it is a very important part because it reflects personality.
