We live in an ever shrinking world. Thanks to the growing ubiquity of the Internet, we can keep in closer touch with more people than at any other time in the history of civilization. We can transact business with someone on the other side of the globe with the same ease that we can chat with our neighbor. What was just a decade ago considered a miracle of technology has become commonplace. These conveniences have not, however, come free of charge.
