It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cheng Ping’s office is located in Dong Wenshui Lu, in the north-east of Shanghai, half an hour from Shanghai Railway Station, where her chauffeur picked me up on my arrival from Nanjing. Her office is rather small to be that of the boss of the organization, but it emanates warmth and has a series of objects that are unusual for a workplace, such some figures in a toy pram car and a doll who moves her head.
