Logic Audio Platinum is Emagic’s ‘flagship’ MIDI + Audio recording software for the Mac. Apple bought Emagic around the end of 2002 and quickly phased out the PC version of Logic Audio – leaving a number of disgruntled PC-owning Logic users stranded. Still, many of these moved to the Mac to stay with Logic – which is just what Apple wanted. That’s business, it seems, these days!
