Overview
Digital Performer, Mark of the Unicorn’s (MOTU’s) highly regarded ‘virtual studio’ software, is marketed as an integrated digital audio and MIDI sequencing system that lets you edit, arrange, process, mix and master your music and audio recording projects.
MOTU also markets a range of PCI and FireWire digital audio cards and interfaces. These are ideal for use with Digital Performer, but you can use your Mac’s built-in audio or equipment from other manufacturers if you prefer. Digital Performer also supports the Digidesign Audio Engine (DAE).
