An ebook, short for electronic book, is a digital format of a book that is stored and read on electronic devices. The benefits of ebooks are numerous, but perhaps the biggest is convenience. With ebooks, you no longer have to lug around heavy paper books; now, you can store hundreds of books on a single slim device.
Although ebooks will never entirely replace the experience of turning pages or writing notes in the margins, reading books on your Chromebook is an excellent way to enjoy a good novel, particularly when you are on the go. The Google Play Books library is home to nearly 7 million titles, and that number continues to grow.
