Conclusion

The lessons learned from the work carried out within the framework of this “Cindynics for All Working and Reflection Groups” reveal that, by incorporating the human and the organization, which are at the center of the complexity of systems, the cindynics approach can integrate all the richness brought about by new scientific, philosophical and sociological advances in order to grasp the complementary potential of dangerousness that can exist within organisms.

Thus, in order to better evaluate and deal with all risk sources, whether known or potential in activity situations, this approach helps to explain how dangerous situations are created. This exploration is carried out by studying the inevitable evolutions that organizations undergo, their purposes, the interactions between members of work collectives, individual and inter-individual games and value systems, which, before now, have not all been used in the same approach.

A cindynics study is therefore not limited to the role of retrospective investigation, as post-disaster forms of feedback are. It now allows a priori analyses of risk sources that are not easily perceptible, which will enrich the risk analyses currently being carried out.

Methods and tools can now help to identify a complex system, discern deficits and dissonances within it, and identify areas of vulnerability with a view to reducing them. This involves making an organization’s structures more resilient, either to find a new balance or to adapt ...
