Practice Hands-On CLI Skills
To do well on sim and simlet questions, you need to be comfortable with many Cisco router and switch commands, and how to use them from a Cisco command-line interface (CLI). As described in the Introduction to this book, sim questions require you to decide which configuration commands you need to configure to fix a problem or to complete a working configuration. Simlet questions require you to answer multiple choice questions by first using the CLI to issue show commands to look at the status of routers and switches in a small network.
