Introduction
More networks will be migrating from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) over the next several years. Cisco has always been a leader in using the latest technologies, and they have taken a real lead as a company by developing equipment that supports the IPv6 protocol stack. The latest versions of the Cisco Internetwork Operating System have support for many IPv6 features, including IPv6 Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and IPv6 access control lists.
