Overview of UCS Hardware Components
In this section, we identify the hardware that comprises a UCS solution, including the fabric interconnects, chassis, and server components.
Front View of UCS
You can access the power supplies and fan modules in the front of the fabric interconnect and access the blades and power supplies in the chassis in the front of the chassis. Note that both half-width and full-width blades can be mixed in the same chassis.
