The Cisco Frame Relay Switching Enhancements feature is composed of a suite of functionalities specifically developed by Cisco to allow a traditional Cisco router to function as a Frame Relay switch in a Frame Relay network. Collectively, the functionalities in the feature provide conventional routers with the true switching capabilities of full-featured commercial Frame Relay switches.
