Description
This command enables the user interface’s history mechanism. A history is a listing of commands that have been executed in the current session. This command is stored in the router’s configuration and applies to all user sessions. number-of-lines
is the size of the history buffer and must be in the range of 0-256. If omitted, the buffer size is set to the default value.
Use the no
version of this command to disable the history mechanism; use the show history
command to view the current history buffer. If you want to activate a history buffer only for your current session, use the command terminal history
.
