Is Integration for Me?
The answer is “Yes,” but I do not expect everyone to agree with it.
The “Yes” is only if SMBs want to have a holistic view of the business that transcends even the concepts of CRMs and ERPs as discrete application categories.
And the “Yes” is only if SMBs understand that they are going to face challenges in the course of any attempt to integrate their applications and, consequently, must have a sufficiently refined business vision and strategy to sustain them through those challenges.
The answer is “Yes” if the SMBs are convinced of the value of benefits resulting from having front and back office applications integrated together.
The reader should be able to readily intuit under what conditions the answer might be “No.” ...
