Applying Conversions
There are several types of numbering conversions that you need to be able to perform. It's not that you'll be doing this on a day-to-day basis, but you need to understand the concepts, especially as the decimal-to-binary conversions apply to IP subnetting.
Specifically, the conversions you are going to learn are as follows:
- Decimal-to-binary conversion
- Hex-to-decimal conversion
- Binary-to-hex conversion
