IPv6-Only-to-IPv4-Only Transition Mechanisms
The previous sections presented mechanisms to tunnel IPv6 packets over existing IPv4 networks to interconnect IPv6 domains. This section presents other transition scenarios in which networks made of native IPv6-only and IPv4-only protocols have to interact and coexist.
Early adopters of IPv6 are currently deploying an IPv6-only infrastructure on their production networks.
