Why Upgrade?

Although the old saying, “If it’s not broke, why fix it?” seems to ring true in most situations, in the next few sections, you see a compelling case for why an upgrade to a newer version of Unified CVP may be justified. As with all hardware and software products, items are marked for End of Sale, End of Life and are replaced with newer products that have key feature enhancements and improved scalability. As outlined in previous chapters, Unified CVP integrates with several other non-native components including Unified ICM and Cisco Unified Call Manager.
