This chapter provides a foundational overview of the Presence solution offered by Cisco. Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUP Server) is the core component to the Cisco Presence solution and focuses entirely on an enterprise-capable architecture that integrates directly into the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) product as an extended application.
