About the Author

Brian Price is a proud member of the UCLA Screenwriting faculty, teaching in the MFA, undergraduate, and professional programs. He has also taught screenwriting at Yale University, Johns Hopkins, UCSB, and the Brooks Institute, among other places. As a writer, he has worked with major studios, television networks, and independent producers around the world. And as a teacher, he is especially proud whenever his students’ work appears on the silver screen, occasionally even getting nominated for Emmys and Golden Globe Awards (for which, of course, he takes full credit). He currently resides in Maryland with his wife Celia and two boys, Maddox and Levi, the best teachers he’s ever had.
