Attention Grabber 3: Meaning

Have you ever been in a loud, crowded room and heard someone say your name? There are some things that we pay attention to no matter how busy we are. Your biggest challenge is to capture someone’s attention while she is distracted with something else. Across research studies, two factors have emerged as consistently reliable ways to get attention, and a recent study showed that their power remains even when people’s attention is engaged elsewhere:
