Abstract:
South Korea has grown significantly as a destination for industry-sponsored clinical trials since 2005. This chapter focuses on the CRO market in South Korea. It then analyses the clinical trial environment and the evolution of good clinical practices in South Korea. It goes on to describe the clinical trial process and key market players undertaking clinical research in South Korea. Finally, it provides an environmental analysis and outlook for future of the South Korean pharmaceutical industry.
