Abstract:
Taiwan is the world’s fifteenth most densely inhabited nation and home to a growing biotech industry. The CRO market in Taiwan is driven by pre-clinical and clinical CROs, bioequivalence studies and clinical laboratory business. This chapter describes the evolution of GCP, the clinical trial processes and key pharmaceutical players undertaking clinical research in Taiwan. Finally, it provides an environmental analysis, highlighting opportunities and challenges for the CRO industry.
