Clinical research in Hong Kong
Abstract:
Even though the pharmaceutical market of Hong Kong is relatively small, it is still an attractive market due to its location bordering the world’s fastest-growing economy, China. This chapter gives a brief overview of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system in Hong Kong. It discusses the evolution of GCP and regulatory and ethics framework in the country. It goes on to list the number of trials undertaken in various therapeutic areas and gives an environmental analysis and future outlook for the industry.
