Capacity Plan

Once capacity requirements are gathered and finalized, the design for capacity is developed, which primarily includes capacity architecture. This chapter describes how the capacity plan is formed on the basis of capacity design. The capacity plan forms the reference document that is circulated among all stakeholders involved in implementing capacity management procedures. Capacity requirements at all levels (business, service, and component) are documented in the capacity plan.
