Cloud control systems venture
Abstract
Deployment of cloud computing principles is extensively apparent in various fields like critical infrastructure control, vehicular systems and transportation, social networking, medical and healthcare systems. Coupled with an appropriate control structure, it naturally forms cloud control systems (CCSs). The security concern for cyber-physical systems (CPSs) is of utmost importance. A CPS is vulnerable to many kinds of attacks that may cause major loss and potential security risks. In this chapter, we will elaborate the requirement of security in CCSs on the basis of attacks on these systems, taking into account the existing security issues and the challenges to providing security.
