I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
User-provided services
So far, we understand how to instantiate a new service from the marketplace and we understand how applications work with bound services through the VCAP_SERVICES JSON object in the application environment variable. We will now visit user-provided services. With user-provided services, a developer is given the freedom to define a service instance that has custom service configuration data fields that their application will read in order to identify and connect to the resource.
