Pulsar has connectors to simplify connections between the external world, including messaging systems, databases, and other communication channels. Pulsar is connected to a source and a sink.

• Source: An external entity that sends data to Pulsar. This can be a file, data pipeline APIs, databases, or so forth. The standard sources in Pulsar are Canal, Debezium MySQL, Debezium PostgreSQL, Debezium MongoDB, DynamoDB, File, Flume, Twitter, Firehose, Kafka, Kinesis, ...
