This chapter consists of essays written by invited contributing authors. All of these essays are related to CMMI for Services. Some of them are straightforward applications of CMMI-SVC to a particular field; for example, reporting a pilot use of the model in an IT organization. We also have an essay describing how CMMI-SVC could have been used and would have helped in a service environment that the author experienced in a prior job.
