Purpose

The purpose of Project Planning (PP) is to establish and maintain plans that define project activities.

In Other Words

PP is about estimating costs, effort, and schedules, figuring out how you’ll attack the service engagement, and involving the right people—all while watching your risks and making sure you’ve got the resources you think you need.
