Closing: I’m Too Busy to Learn

I am sat at my desk trying to write. The word processor is signaling me to hurry up and write something—the rhythmic flickering of the I-beam counting the seconds of procrastination. My desk faces a large window, and it is bright sun outside. There is perfect blue sky and a light breeze. I wish I could go outside and relax with a cold beer. The beach is only 5 minutes away, and I could go and watch the kite surfers flying over the waves. I look down at my desk, and the coffee cup catches my eye, reminding me of the need for caffeine.
