Using delegation as learning opportunities
Jenny vividly remembers when she first became managing director of a company and how quickly she was overwhelmed by the job and the number of people who came into her office each day with problems that they expected her to solve. No matter how many hours she worked, she could never get on top of the workload. Her problem was that she hadn’t learnt how to successfully delegate (and it’s now a particular coaching speciality).
