Does gender make a difference in thinking big? Research shows that when it comes to developing business, men tend to want bigger, faster-growing firms, while women seem to take a more stable, long-term approach. Neither is right or wrong: they are just different. Research on gender differences indicates that men have a tendency from a very young age to compete and try to out-do each other. Women, on the other hand, strive for relationships and equity. Historically, women have also had numerous limitations placed on them by society and their cultures.
