A Kryptos
Kryptos is a sculpture located at CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia.1 It was created by Jim Sanborn, a local artist, in 1990. Kryptos bears an encrypted inscription, which has become the most famous crypto puzzle created in the last four decades (see Figure A-1).
