Intentional Development Environments

The web development tools provide a playful introduction to actual software code that empowers students, but it lacks permanence. Anything your students create with these tools vanishes when they refresh or close the browser. In this chapter, we’ll introduce development environments, where students can build computational artifacts that they can develop, enhance, and share with others.
