13I Only Have Capacity for Seven Clients

I was scrolling Facebook one evening, and came across this post by a guy called Jonathan Jay. He said, ‘This year, I only have the capacity to take on seven clients. To see if you could be one of those seven, please read this…’.

This caught my attention, and I read on.

He started talking a little about his journey; he set up a coaching company called ‘The Coaching Academy’ and sold it for £28 million.

Now I was really engaged.

He said, ‘To make an application to see if you're the right fit, please fill in this form’.

I printed out this six‐page form, made myself a cup of tea and started to fill it out. It asked questions like, ‘Do you have the ambition to make a turnover of £1 million a year’. ‘Yeah, I do’, I thought to myself.

‘Do you want to expand overseas and enter new markets?’ ‘Absolutely’, I wrote.

‘Do you want to learn how to stand on stage and deliver an offer so compelling that 70% of the audience will run to the back of the room to sign up?’ ‘That would be unreal’, I wrote.

‘Do you want to learn how to write a book and be an Amazon bestseller within 12 months?’ I was scribbling through this form with so much excitement.
