Abstract

The eminence of satellite and the underwater image is meager due to the belongings of water, air, and its contamination. Water and air properties cause attenuation of light travels through the water and air medium, resulting in low contrast, blur, inhomogeneous lighting, and color diminishing of the satellite and underwater images. The work proposes submerging and satellite picture enhancements that merged the iterative wavelet algorithm and the white balance method with the contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE). The biggest problem in overflowing images is the blurring effect due to instability in the water flow, inadequate lighting, and low contrast. The significant issues in satellite images, i.e., glare, blurriness, and low contrast which affect the accuracy. The proposed work solves these problems that can enhance the appearance and obtained better outcomes. Multiple inputs were used, including images corrected by hue and increased by comparison while testing the proposed methodology. Entropy, peak signal–to-noise ratio (PSNR), and deployment time have been ...
