Abstract

Information from various regions shows that leukemia patients are much more at risk than other COVID-19 patients. Their ability to resist diseases is not adequate compared with other COVID-19 patients, as cancer patients and patients with certain chronic conditions, such as middle-aged cancer survivors, are immunocompromised. The resistance toward stimuli is also considerably weaker in cancer patients.
