MANEKI NEKO (LUCKY CAT)
This is a drawing with lots of different shapes and colors to work with. There is no need to worry about drawing any fur on this cat, as it is ceramic and smooth. Soft, light layers of color will work best in this situation. One of the great elements of this project is the use of the metallic gold in the coin, claws, and tag. The metallics are applied in the same manner as the other pencil colors but are best applied on the top layer so their shiny characteristics can best be displayed.
